OUR MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE

IDS management team is comprised of distinguished and practicing experts, acknowledged authorities, seasonal, tested and vastly experienced professionals and technocrats in diverse fields of human and organizational resources development, drawn from both the public and private sectors and from within and outside the country. They are also experienced trainers and facilitators who possess in-depth knowledge, skills and experience in sustainable development programing and the use of different training approaches and methodologies. They are selected for different intervention project based on qualifications, areas of strengths and expertise

IDS – CAPACITY BUILDING AND TRAINING INITIATIVE

The capacity building and training programs was initiated in 2009 with the primary aimed of strengthen the organizational capacity of Government ministries, departments and agencies(MDAs),  civil society organisations (CSOs), farmers associations and cooperatives societies in Nigeria on modern  skills in organisational development through participatory approach, financial management, business  plan development, project management,  productive chain analysis and  community mobilization for participatory development. Other areas covered by the initiative include market access training, entrepreneurship development, fundraising and financial linkage services, monitoring and evaluation (M&E) and sustainability strategies for farmers and other entrepreneurs to fast-track sustainable development programs for poverty alleviation, employment creation, income generations in the society.

Over 5,000 participants have so far benefited directly from this schemed across the country.  The initiatives have received both national and international support and commendations from organisations namely United States of America (USA) Ambassador to Nigeria, Justice for All(J4A)-DFID, National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), Bank of Industry (BOI), OIC-Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN)-Entrepreneurship development center and New partnership for African development (NEPAD). Others includes; Federal Ministry of Women Affairs/Youth Development, The Country Coordinating Mechanism–The Global Fund (HIV/AIDS & TB), Creative Associate International Inc., World Bank Nigeria Country Office Abuja as well as North East Regional Initiative (NERI) among other development partners.
